“Skittles” (Poem)

I’ve learned that cleaning can be relaxing.
Whether it’s from dusting the dining room, or cleaning out that closet constructed from your conscience.
Either way the goal seems to be planning for perfection, until pure from what isn’t positive.
I’m sure there are people out there who won’t swim in large bodies of water.
Afraid of being ate by a giant fish or some sea creature.
But we all can agree that no one wants to swim in a pool of problems.
Nor drown in desperation…
No one should have to run when stressed, just to  terminate it through their trails.
Look for new ways to prepare for the pressure.
Try deleting the devastation by devouring desserts.
Fun fact, stressed spelled backwards is desserts!
So become a foodie, and fill your belly up with whatever makes your smile send tulips to your taste buds.
And share these sensational recipes with someone who’s special and spectacular to you.
Surround yourself with friends who will make you better.
Even if you’re quiet that doesn’t submerge you into shyness, there is a difference.
Whether partying in mansions, or having simple conversations sipping tea in tiny homes.
Choose the proper people you care to put your time into.
Classify and collect the memories instead of materials.
Call it a priority preference…
And keep that heart in your chest warmer than dark chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven.
Every day doesn’t bring us sunshine, but that doesn’t mean we have to submit to the storms!
That’s when you learn to live your life like there’s a rainbow running everywhere you go.
Chase it and attempt to taste it!
Sometime’s stress can be solved with just a simple bag of Skittles.
